Is this really happening to me?

2 months ago I got this incredible offer and now, 11 years after I quit UTV, and at 40, I am plunging into the world of TV again as Associate Director, Dubbing with Turner India. From May 1^st, I will be responsible for all the language dubs in India for Cartoon Network and Pogo, a children’s channel. It’s a challenge I look forward to and am nervous and excited. Those 5 years of hard work at UTV were an investment that is paying off now ( I was recommended for this job by an old colleague at UTV)

I shall remember this day - 7th April 2008 - A new beginning and miles to go…Living the life I love!

The Immaculate Conception

This blog is my canvas where I look forward to recording at least 1 (if not more) moment in a day that I'd like to keep as a fond memory that I can refer to in the future.

Today I went to meet a dear friend and see her precious 10days old baby boy Neel. After over 8 years of trying for a baby through all the means possible and spending 1000s of dollars, my friends were finally parents through a successful surrogate program 'womb for hire', in a little town called Anand, near Baroda, Gujarat, India. This amazing procedure is accomplished by fertilising the parents egg and sperm and inserting it in a surrogate 'Mom' to nurture for 9 months after which she gives birth to the child. So now this lovely couple are finally parents of their own baby ! Was touched to see the joy on their faces as the looked at their precious moppet...

At long last!

After a lot of debate and hesitation I have finally jumped in and joined the 'bloggers' across the world!

I look at this space as my canvas for my thoughts, views, experiences and whatever that I need to express. So with a lot of apprehension, i start this journey of blogging....
